As the core component of an inkjet printer, the print head is very important. A print head is very valuable, and it will be very painful to use for a long time. In order to prolong the life of the print head, we should do some maintenance and maintenance on the print head of the inkjet printer.

If the maintenance methods and maintenance measures are in place, it can extend the life of the nozzle and create more value for its manufacturer. So how should the nozzle be maintained? Let's find out together!

In order to keep the printheads working optimally, we should print as many pictures as possible two days before the printer is officially operational. C, M, Y, K color bars should be added on both sides to ensure that the print head is always in a flashing state.

Maintenance method of the nozzle after the daily work of the inkjet printer is completed

The first step is to power down the device.

The second step is to first clean the moisturizing sponge with a special cleaning solution, and pour the cleaning solution on the sponge to soak.

Step 3: Move the nozzle back to the cleaning station on the far right, so that the nozzle and the moisturizing sponge are tightly combined.

The fourth step, keep the above state and let the printer stay overnight.

Backup maintenance method

1. Please pay attention to the maintenance of the machine in the user manual

2. Or please contact us for professional guidance of technicians.

Nozzle maintenance method

1. Prepare a bottle of weak solvent ink solution or water-based ink cleaning solution

2. Before shutting down, please put special cleaning droplets into the ink pile cover, reset the trolley, and shut down normally.

3. If conditions permit, print a print head test every day to ensure complete ink output from the print head

4. If the machine is not used for more than 3 days, clamp the two ink tubes under the ink pile cover with clips, and drop some cleaning liquid into the ink pile cover to ensure that the surface of the print head is wet and not dry.

5. If the machine will not be used for a week or two (not suitable for long-term shutdown), prepare a roll of plastic wrap, cut a small piece, and spread it on the ink pad of the ink pile. Add a little bit, let the print head reset, then turn off.

The printhead is arguably the most important component in an inkjet printing device. The print head is divided into two types: thermal foaming print head and micro piezoelectric print head.
